Campus Participates in International Love Data Week

Throughout the week of February 13th, the UMD campus data community celebrated International Love Data week. Love Data Week is an international celebration of data, taking place every year during the week of Valentine's day. The theme for 2023 focused on using data to bring about changes that matter such as policy change, environmental change, and social change.

The Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment (IRPA) coordinated a series of data-related activities and events throughout the week to celebrate the use of data on campus. On February 15th, the Office of Sustainability joined the Tableau Community of Practice to present on SustainableUMD's Progress Hub and tableau dashboards. While developing the dashboards, the Office of Sustainability worked closely with IRPA and other campus data partners. Explore the Measuring Progress dashboards for information about UMD's sustainability efforts. With over 9 dashboards, 100 graphs, and 60 data partners, the dashboards are a resource for all community members.
